SPEEA/Local 2001 Elects WEU Negotiations Team

SPEEA’s 2024 Wichita Engineering Unit (WEU) negotiations team was named this week.   The team, which consists of Benjamin Blankley, Laura Dame Santry, R Matthew Joyce, Brennan Macklin, and Derek Milligan, was elected after the WEU Bargaining Unit Council (BUC) met and elected the negotiations team.   

Brother Matthew Joyce, who serves on the IFPTE Executive Council as SPEEA Area Vice President, commented on the elections: “We on the negotiations team look forward to hitting the ground in communicating SPEEA’s WEU membership as their top issues in the workplace that we can take to the bargaining table.”
