CLC's Forward Together: A Disaster-proof safety net for Canadians

Under its 'Forward Together' campaign, the Canadian Labour Congress held a webinar discussion to talk about what needs to be done to ensure that Canada's income support programs work better, work for everyone, and are built to withstand the next economic crisis.

The discussion featured CLC Executive Vice-President Larry Rousseau, joined with Pam Frache from the Workers' Action Centre and Chuka Ejeckam from the BC Federation of Labour.

The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) launched the campaign to call on all levels of government to focus on investments and community supports to help restart our economies and protect Canadians, and is centered on ensuring that Canada is ready to disaster-proof our nation so that no one is left behind when crisis hits.
