“Enough is Enough”, Moe Government Must Go, Saskatchewan Workers Press for Change

With less than a week left to vote in the provincial election, the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour (SFL) continues to press for change, calling on voters to say, “Enough is Enough!” after 17 years under the current governing party and to elect a new government that puts workers ahead of corporate interests and favoured friends.

On Monday, Leader of the Saskatchewan NDP, Carla Beck addressed attendees of the provincial labour federation’s biennial convention, echoing that same call for change. Beck acknowledged the critical role that working people have played in building Saskatchewan and said that workers are the backbone of the province’s communities. Under the current Moe government, Beck says growth opportunities have been left on the table and too many people are being left behind.

The SFL is holding final “Get out the vote” Blitz canvassing events ahead of the official election day on Monday, October 28th. Event details here.
