IFPTE Calling on Veterans to Join the IFPTE Veterans Committee

IFPTE will soon be scheduling the Spring Veterans Committee meeting and is seeking more Veterans represented by IFPTE to join the committee.  The committee, which is Chaired by Local 195 President Tim Rudolph, was created to address the major issues impacting IFPTE’s Veteran community, including by not limited to VA healthcare and benefits, Veterans preference in the federal government, and advocating for legislation to assist Veterans for issues such as those exposed to dangerous burn pits. 

The Veterans committee is open IFPTE member who are Veterans, those who are family members of Veterans, and those who have an interest in supporting and advocating for IFPTE Veterans.  IFPTE encourages all Locals to let their members know of the Veterans Committee and encourage them to join.  To join the Veterans Committee and get the email notice for the Spring virtual meeting, please email Matt Biggs at mbiggs@ifpte.org.
