IFPTE Celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride Month

June 1st marks the beginning of LGBT Pride Month and IFPTE is proud to join the labor movement in celebrating the contributions and work of LGBTQ+ workers across North American, including our IFPTE Sisters, Brothers, and Siblings. 

IFPTE President Matt Biggs and Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson issued the following joint statement in support of the LGBTQ community: 

IFPTE officers, staff and Locals recognize and honor all LBGTQ+ IFPTE members and workers across the nation during Pride Month, and all year long.  We at IFPTE understand the historic challenges faced by our LGBTQ+ Sisters and Brothers in the workplace, and in our communities.  Rest assured, IFPTE will always stand with and work in Solidarity toward bringing the strongest possible worker protections for the LGBTQ+ community.  Happy Pride Month!
