IFPTE Congratulates Clayola Brown on Appointment to Newly Created Position of AFL-CIO Senior Advisor for Strategic Partnership and Racial Justice

IFPTE International President Matt Biggs and Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson sent Clayola Brown, a longtime fighter for economic justice and civil rights within the labor movement, a letter recognizing her recent promotion at the AFL-CIO. 

In their letter, Biggs and Henson said, “Your promotion marks a well-deserved recognition of your lifetime of service to working families and communities of color, as well as a timely opportunity for the Labor Movement to redouble its commitment to expanding the benefits of union membership to all workers from all walks of life.”
