IFPTE Launches Member Engagement and Mobilization (MEMO) Program
As part of their effort to better connect the rank-and-file with the work of the International and their Local Unions, President Biggs and Secretary-Treasurer Henson have launched a program to increase communication and interaction with IFPTE members.
This campaign recently launched with a pilot program in the state of New Jersey, which has been a target of the anti-worker, anti-union organization "Freedom Foundation." IFPTE's MEMO Program (Member Engagement and Mobilization) will include Local Union newsletters, regular engagement activities like raffles and surveys from members to find out their concerns and priorities.
We appreciate the leadership of Local Union 195 for participating in the pilot program, and we look forward to expanding the program to other New Jersey Locals before launching it throughout the United States and Canada.
