IFPTE Local 20 Members at East Bay Community Law Center Unanimously Ratify First Union Contract

IFPTE is happy to share that, after nearly two years of negotiations, ESC-Local 20 members employed at the East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) have ratified a first contract that achieves all of the union membership’s key bargaining priorities!

Following the 65-0 ratification vote on the contract, which included an average 15% pay increase among many other gains, the Local 20 EBCLC bargaining team released a statement stating that, “we are pleased to have reached this settlement, which respects and rewards the important work you all do and will help retain and attract staff”.
