IFPTE Locals Gather for 2022 Federal Caucus
Members from IFPTE’s diverse federal sector met virtually this week for the 2022 Federal Caucus. The Caucus, which was chaired by Western Federal Area Vice President/IFPTE Local 121 President, Jamie Uyeunten, and Eastern Federal Area Vice President, Renae McKenzie, focused on the major issues impacting federal employees represented by IFPTE Locals across the nation.
Among the issues discussed was IFPTE support for the FAIR Act to provide federal workers with a 5.1% pay raise, protect against federal employee pension cuts, and guarding against costly privatization of federal functions. President Biggs and Secretary-Treasurer Henson also spoke to attendees, as did House Government Operations Subcommittee Staff Director, Dr. Wendy Ginsberg.
