IFPTE, One of 21 FWA Unions Urging Senators to Reject Catherine Bird for FLRA General Counsel

As the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee prepares for Bird’s nomination hearing this week, IFPTE signed onto the Federal Workers Alliance letter informing lawmakers that “Ms. Bird is not fit to serve as General Counsel to the FLRA and her confirmation to that position would have deleterious effects on the federal workforce.”
