IFPTE Tells Senators to Confirm Kiran Ahuja for OPM Director, Restore Leadership and Expertise to Federal Management

This week, IFPTE requested that Senators vote to confirm Kiran Ahuja, President Biden’s nominee for the Director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

IFPTE’s letter noted that Ahuja’s qualifications as OPM chief of staff and her leadership on federal diversity initiatives will be key assets for leading the federal agency in charge of federal workers’ compensation, retirement benefits, hiring, workforce development, and maintaining strong merit principles and labor-management relations.
