IFPTE Thanks and Congratulates SPEEA-Local 2001 Communications Director Bill Dugovich Upon his Retirement
As he enters a well-deserved retirement, the IFPTE family across North America thanks Brother Bill Dugovich for his more than two decades of service to SPEEA-Local 2001, the IFPTE International, and Locals across the United States and Canada.
IFPTE president Matt Biggs, commented that, “it is certainly bitter-sweet to see Brother Dugovich retire, as he will be dearly missed by all of us at IFPTE. His contributions to our International union and to SPEEA have been immense, and we can’t thank him enough. But we can wish he and his family nothing but the best as he enters retirement.”
Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson also commented that Bill is “a trade unionist through and through whose great work at SPEEA and elsewhere in our labor movement will continue to benefit working families.”
Former IFPTE president and SPEEA organizing director Paul Shearon also weighed-in, saying that, “Brother Bill and I have worked together for decades, first at SPEEA and then when I move to the IFPTE international. He has not only been there for me personally as a great friend, but was always there for IFPTE when we came calling. I wish him nothing but great health and prosperity in his retirement.”
Congratulations from a thankful Union Family to Brother Bill Dugovich.
