IFPTE Local 400 Hosts Annual "Summer Outing" Member Picnic

For the first time in three years IFPTE Local 400 hosted their member picnic in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The annual event, which was on hiatus the last two years due to the pandemic, was held at The Last Resort restaurant/bar/pool in Smithfield, Rhode Island and was attended by 160 members, retirees and family members.

IFPTE Local 400 President/Northeastern Vice President Denise Robinson commented that, “it certainly is exciting for us to be able to welcome our members and their families to this annual event after skipping the last two years because of covid. The opportunity to share good food, fun activities and union solidarity has been long overdue.”

IFPTE President Matt Biggs, Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson, and International Rep David LaFemina, also attended the event.
