OFL OPEN LETTER: Premier Ford, Minister Elliott & Minister McNaughton – Protect Ontario Workers from COVID-19

Earlier this week, the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) sent an open letter to Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Minister of Health Christine Elliott, and Minister of Labour Monte McNaughton calling on them to strengthen protections for all workers. The letter was sent with the support of Ontario organizations and unions, including the Society of United Professionals (SUP/IFPTE Local 160). Experts around the world–including within Canada–have called for higher levels of worker protection because of aerosol transmission of the virus.
