Report from IFPTE WSN Planning Committee Meeting

This week, the IFPTE Women’s Solidarity Network (WSN) Planning Committee met. IFPTE Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson attended the meeting to introduce herself to Planning Committee members.

WSN members in attendance included: WSN Chair Tracy Miller (Local 160), Sherry Thomas (Local 195); Mary Wolff (Local 7); Rita Owens (Local 29); Kendra Schaff (Local 12), and Dede Chance (Local 12). 

Discussions involved highlights from the IFPTE 60th Convention, debriefing on the recent Women’s Forum Building a Culture of Consent workshop, and upcoming plans for the WSN, which includes the Women & Unions International Speakers Series which is set to return in January 2022.
