This Saturday, Join AFL-CIO Leaders & Union Members at Fighting for Our Vote Rallies in DC, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Detroit

This weekend, the AFL-CIO will participate with the Fight for Our Vote coalition to kick off their year-long campaign in support of voting rights. Securing voting rights is central to our Workers First Agenda, as we mobilize to pass the PRO Act, the Public Service Freedom to Negotiate Act, the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to save our democracy for future generations. Rallies are happening in Washington, D.C., Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Detroit.

President Liz Shuler and AFSCME President Lee Saunders will speak to the importance of our democracy at the D.C. event.

The D.C. rally will take place this Saturday, August 21, from 1-4 p.m. ET. The event is happening at Lincoln Park on Capitol Hill (East Capitol Street NE; between 11th and 13th Streets). The speaking program begins at 2 p.m. ET.
