IFPTE’s Women’s Solidarity Network Co-Sponsors an International CSW Program

IFPTE’s Women’s Solidarity Network (WSN) co-sponsored a blockbuster program at the 69th session of the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) NGO Forum. The program events provide a platform for the voices and leadership of global women’s rights organizations. Our program, co-sponsored by the Federal Bar Association, the National Association of Women Judges, the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ), and others, focused on women judges in society and the paths taken within their respective judiciary systems around the world to get to where they are.

Judicial Council 2 President, Mimi Tsankov, is a member of the WSN, and thanked the committee members for their support and involvement. IFPTE Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson commended Mimi Tsankov’s leadership, saying, “Programs like this are an asset to the WSN, IFPTE, and the judiciary. We are extremely proud of Ms. Tsankov's contributions to uplift all women, and we will continue to support the tremendous work performed by our judicial members.” Great work!
