APALA Hosts Townhall with Rep. Jayapal About Labor and Supporting Family-Based Immigration

Hosted by the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA) and the Value Our Families Coalition, APALA Executive Director Alvina Yeh, Representative Pramila Jayapal, and labor organizers tied together issues regarding the gaps in the COVID-19 response that have excluded immigrants and communities of color, the recent rollback of the family migration system in the U.S., and the “systemic inequities” that requires working people to extend solidarity and support to all workers and their families, regardless of immigration status, during this crisis.
