Bell Canada Announces More Job Reductions at Bell MTS

Bell announced another downsizing and EVRTIP initiative for TEAM (IFPTE Local 161) members on November 15. This time, Bell is looking for five reductions in total; one each from five specified positions in the Bell Business Markets (BBM) VP Group. For the first time, Bell has indicated that it will not move to layoffs if the targeted reductions are not achieved by the EVRTIP. Members in positions outside of BBM who are interested in applying can request a copy of the current EVRTIP document from their HR Consultant. As usual, the TEAM office will be tracking applications/departures and continue to push for more jobs in Manitoba.
