Brother Sean McBride Named Chairman of Key New Jersey AFL-CIO Committee

IFPTE Local 196 President/Atlantic Area Vice President/New Jersey AFL-CIO Vice President, Sean McBride, was appointed to chair the Election Committee for the upcoming New Jersey AFL-CIO Convention. 

In announcing the appointment, State Federation President, Charlie Wowkanech, and Secretary-Treasurer, Laurel Brennen, wrote that the Convention’s, “success will flow from the work conducted by the Convention committees that meet for the purposes of general discussion, reviewing resolutions and ensuring coordinated proceedings of the Convention.” 

Brother McBride also commented, saying that, “I am honored to be asked to Chair the Election Committee and look forward to working hand-in-hand with members of the Committee to complete our work.”   The Convention is scheduled from June 10-12 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
