May Day/International Workers' Day
Workers of the World Unite for a New Social Contract with No Exclusions - 11am webinar hosted by the AFL-CIO's Solidarity Center and International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). The COVID crisis exposes systemic injustices that the global labor movement has long fought to change — informality in our economy, weak health care systems, lack of a social safety net, structural racism, gender discrimination and inhumane and exploitative migration regimes. This discussion will highlight issues that workers around the world are facing right now, with particular attention to migrant workers.

May Day 2020 - "We Are All Essential" Online Rally to #ProtectAllWorkers at 4pm ET. This event is part of the day-long Celebration of Solidarity live stream on May 1 and will also be broadcast on APALA’s Facebook page

AAPI Video Series
"AAPIs are #EssentialNotExpendable" APAHM Video Series - Starting Monday, May 4, a new video featuring AAPI workers on the frontlines of COVID-19 will be released each week in May. Please help us amplify by RSVPing to get the Social Media Toolkit.

IFPTE's Statement of Anti-Asian Racism
IFPTE has called upon its members, Local affiliates and the public to stand in solidarity with the Asian community during this difficult time. Our Executive Officers and Diversity Committee issued a statement denouncing the rise of anti-Asian racism and stands in solidarity with our members and with all people of Asian descent.
