Earth Day Message from the Unionized Climate and Environmental Movement

The climate and environmental movement is one of the most rapidly unionized spaces in the U.S., and at Friends of the Earth Workers United, a bargaining unit under NPEU/IFPTE Local 70, we believe a sustainable workforce is key to saving our planet.

As a member of the EarthDay2MayDay coalition, we're working to build a sustainable workforce that leverages collective power for our future. From supporting local farm workers fighting for living wages to joining local waterkeepers to protect our drinking sources, there are many ways to organize for Mother Earth.
