“Honoring Our Past and Protecting Our Future” - IFPTE to Participate in the AFL-CIO Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Conference

Monday, January 17th is the federal holiday honoring the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. To recognize the importance of this day, IFPTE members from across the country will participate in the annual AFL-CIO MLK remembrance weekend of activities.

The theme for this year’s virtual conference is “Honoring Our Past and Protecting Our Future”, and includes sessions and trainings held online for participants, as well as speakers that include Vice President Kamala Harris, and Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
