IFPTE Calling on Veterans to Join the IFPTE Veterans Committee

IFPTE’s Fall Veterans Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9th at 2:30pm EST.   The committee, Chaired by ESC/Local 20 President/Western Vice President, John Mader, addresses the major issues impacting IFPTE’s Veteran community, including but not limited to VA healthcare and benefits, Veterans preference in the federal government, and advocating for legislation to assist Veterans for issues such as those exposed to dangerous burn pits.  

We are seeking more Veterans represented by IFPTE to join the committee.  The Veterans committee is open to IFPTE members who are Veterans, those who are family members of Veterans, and those who have an interest in supporting and advocating for IFPTE Veterans.  IFPTE encourages all Locals to let their members know of the Veterans Committee and encourage them to join, and to attend November 9th’s online meeting.
