IFPTE Calling on Veterans to Join the IFPTE Veterans Committee

IFPTE will soon be scheduling the Spring Veterans Committee meeting. The committee, which is Chaired by Local 20/ESC President and Western Vice President John Mader addresses the major issues impacting IFPTE’s Veteran community, including but not limited to VA healthcare and benefits, Veterans preference in the federal government, and advocating for legislation to assist Veterans for issues such as those exposed to dangerous burn pits. seeking more Veterans represented by IFPTE to join the committee.  

The Veterans committee is open to IFPTE members who are Veterans, those who are family members of Veterans, and those who have an interest in supporting and advocating for IFPTE Veterans. IFPTE encourages all Locals to let their members know of the Veterans Committee and encourage them to join in time to attend the Spring meeting.
