IFPTE Holds Biannual Veterans Committee Meeting

IFPTE hosted the 2022 Fall Veterans Committee meeting this past Wednesday. The meeting, which was held virtually and was chaired by Veterans Committee Chairman/IFPTE Local 20 President/Western Area Vice President, John Mader, was attended by 11 Veterans, staff and officers across four IFPTE Locals (ESC/IFPTE Local 20, SPEEA/IFPTE Local 2001, IFPTE Local 195, EA/IFPTE Local 1937), and focused on the major legislative issues facing IFPTE represented Veterans. 

Among the highlights of the meeting was a presentation by AFL-CIO Union Veterans Council (UVC) Chairman, Will Attig.  The following people attended Wednesday’s meeting:  John Mader (Local 20); Jimmie Mathis (SPEEA/Local 2001); Brent Young (SPEEA, Local 2001); Ken Parment (EA, Local 1937); Melvin Dwyer (Local 195); Craig Kowald (SPEEA/Local 2001); Dan Sergent (SPEEA/Local 2001), Brian Kildee (International); Faraz Khan (International), Candace Rhett (International); Gay Henson (International); and Matt Biggs (International).
