IFPTE Hosts Fall Executive Council Meeting

The IFPTE Executive Council held their Fall meeting on November 17th and 18th in Las Vegas. The Council, which meets twice a year, discussed many matters of importance to the Federation, including the results of the recently concluded midterm elections; the successful effort by labour, including the Society of United Professionals (SUP/IFPTE Local 160) to overturn the union-busting Bill 28; a legislative and legal update of the major issues and legal cases impacting IFPTE’s membership; and a report about the latest IFPTE Veterans Committee. The Council also reviewed the International’s annual budget, and membership.
