IFPTE Launches VOTE 2024 Program in Pennsylvania and Nationwide

This week, IFPTE joined the AFL-CIO’s program to engage and turn out union voters in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.  From now through election day, IFPTE will have staff on the ground in the Harrisburg and Philadelphia regions of the state.  IFPTE members across the country can join the campaign as well by volunteering for virtual phone banks or by joining local AFL-CIO labor-to-labor efforts.

"We have members in Pennsylvania who can vote for pro-worker candidates, as well as members in surrounding states who can help the labor movement get the message out," said IFPTE President Matt Biggs.  "In addition, IFPTE members across the country can support the cause by joining virtual phonebanks and sending Get Out The Vote postcards to union households."

IFPTE Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson added, "We have too much on the line to give anything less than our best effort.  If you want to help build a pro-union, pro-worker majority from the White House to City Hall, we will have opportunities for you!"
