IFPTE Locals Across North America Celebrate Labour Day

IFPTE Local 121 celebrates Labor Day

IFPTE Locals from coast to coast celebrated Labour Day this week.  Members and leaders from the Society of United Professionals (SUP/IFPTE Local 160), participated in events throughout Ontario; IFPTE Local 121 members had a booth and countless members at Honolulu’s historic Labor Day celebration; and IFPTE Local 21 marched in Solidarity with UNITE-HERE in San Francisco, and were among the many Locals and members participating in Labor Day festivities.

IFPTE’s International Executive Officers also penned a letter to all IFPTE members entitled, “Labor Day 2024, Thank a Worker”, while Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) president, Bea Bruske issued a strong Labour Day message.  AFL-CIO President, Liz Shuler, and Secretary-Treasurer, Fred Redmond, hosted the American Labor Movement’s State of Unions event in Washington, DC late last month, and joined President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Union members in Pittsburgh on Labor Day.

Happy Labor Day 2024!
