IFPTE Mourns the passing of Donald Payne, Jr. 

IFPTE leaders across New Jersey expressed the Union's condolences on the passing this week of New Jersey Congressman, Donald Payne, Jr. Atlantic Area Vice President/Local 196 President  Sean McBride noted, "Local 196 has been proud to call Congressman Payne a proud Union Brother and member of Local 196, as both he and his wife Beatrice have carried a Local 196 union card for decades.  Our Local and larger IFPTE union family were deeply saddened to hear of his passing.  He was a champion for working families and for Labor and will be sorely missed.”  Read IFPTE’s statement here.
