Trumka Protecting the Right to Organize Act (PRO Act) and the Public Service Freedom to Negotiate Act, she is also running against one of the most anti-labor and anti-federal employee Members of Congress.  In fact, her opponent, Rep. Trumka Protecting the Right to Organize Act (PRO Act) and the Public Service Freedom to Negotiate Act. As she runs for a fifth term in Congress, IFPTE is pleased to support her candidacy.

Senate:

*Sen. Bob Casey (D, PA) – Senator Casey has been a longtime friend to IFPTE, particularly the members of IFPTE Local 3 employed by the Navy in Philadelphia.  He worked with Local 3 and several other IFPTE Locals directly during the Trump Administration to mitigate the President’s union busting policies impacting IFPTE locals and has been a leader in the Senate during the Biden Administration in championing everything from the Richard L. Senate:

*Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D, RI) – Senator Whitehouse is the Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee and, as a result, is one of the most influential lawmakers on Capitol Hill when it comes to bringing fairness back to workers when it comes to our nation’s tax policy.  Senator Whitehouse said it best himself in discussing a recent Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report on growing wealth inequality between millionaires and billionaires and working families, asking, “Do we want to reward billionaires, who have already captured so much of the nation’s wealth, or do we want to de-corrupt the tax code, ensure the wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share, and reduce the deficit, all while making necessary investments to better the lives of all Americans?”  Senator Whitehouse is as strong as any lawmaker on fundamental labor issues, as evidenced by his 99% lifetime AFL-CIO legislative approval rating, is the author of the Curtailing Executive Overcompensation (CEO) Act (S. 3176), and is a co-sponsor of the Richard L. Trumka Protecting the Right to Organize Act (PRO Act) and the Public Service Freedom to Negotiate Act.  As he seeks a 4th term in the U.S. Senate, IFPTE is proud to support Sen.
