Jamie Uyeunten Re-Elected to Hawaii AFL-CIO Executive Council

During this week’s Hawaii AFL-CIO Convention, IFPTE Local 121 President/Western Federal Area Vice President, Jamie Uyeunten, was re-elected to serve a two year term on the State Federation’s executive council. Jamie has served as president of IFPTE Local 121 since 2010, represents more than 3,000 technical and professional bargaining unit members comprised of nine (9) units in seven (7) different agencies in Hawaii, and is a leading voice in support of federal workers in Hawaii, and across the United States. Jamie commented on her re-election, saying, “I am honored to continue to serve on the Hawaii state fed board and work in Solidarity with our larger labor movement, while advocating for Local 121’s diverse membership, and federal workers in general.”
