LaFemina Attends Event Honoring Labor Secretary Su, Rep. DeLauro

IFPTE International Representative, David LaFemina, participated in an event in Connecticut with two of IFPTE’s strongest supporters: Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su. 

Representative DeLauro, who is the Ranking Democrat on the powerful House Appropriations Committee, and Secretary Su, are not only two of the most influential policymakers in the United States but are also unapologetic defenders of unions and collective bargaining. 

LaFemina commented on the event:  “It was a great opportunity to represent IFPTE and extend our appreciation to both Congresswoman DeLauro, who is a longtime personal friend, and Secretary Su, for their support of IFPTE’s membership, and working families in general.  I was honored to be able to attend and meet Secretary Su.”
