Manitoba Re-establishes Minister's Advisory Council on Workplace Safety and Health

This week, Manitoba’s NDP Government introduced an important piece of legislation that will re-establish the Minister's Advisory Council on Workplace Safety and Health, which was eliminated by the former Brian Pallister Conservative government. The MFL had lobbied for this council to be re-established since it was eliminated. This council will bring together labour, employers, and technical experts to provide advice to the Minister of Labour on how to strengthen workplace health and safety.
