Members at Bruce Power Vote 98.6% to Authorize for Strike Action

This week, members of the Society of United Professionals/IFPTE Local 160 who work at Bruce Power voted an overwhelming 98.6% in favor of strike action, if necessary, to support meaningful bargaining and to reach a fair collective agreement.

The contract for the 1,200-member bargaining unit which represents Bruce Power engineers, supervisors, IT, safety (reactor, radiological, industrial and environment) and other professional workers expired at the end of 2022.
