NPEU-Local 70 Hosts Virtual Member Meeting with IFPTE Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson

This week, members of the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union-Local 70 (NPEU) met virtually to discuss the major issues affecting NPEU’s membership. 

Among the highlights of the meeting was an address by IFPTE Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson that included an update on IFPTE’s continued support for the organizing efforts of NPEU, a brief summary of the issues impacting the larger IFPTE family across North America, and a history of Gay’s journey as a worker, a union member and a leader locally and nationally. 

Henson commented that, “it was an honor to address the NPEU, to applaud them on their incredible organizing, and their leadership within the IFPTE.”  Thank you Local 70!
