Two Year Authorization of Water Resources Development Act Unveiled this Week -- IFPTE Weighs In
This week, Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) negotiators unveiled their long awaited bill to authorize United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects over the next two years.
As the House prepared to vote on the bipartisan bill, IFPTE, representing thousands of USACE civilian workers penned a letter to Congress in support of the legislation, calling it, “a jobs bill that will maintain and create tens of thousands of jobs to support and maintain America’s water infrastructure needs.”
