2020 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Award Winners
IFPTE is honored to announce the winners of the 2020 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Awards Program. From the many remarkable applicants, only four $2,500 scholarships could be awarded to children and/or grandchildren of IFPTE members in the Public, Private, Federal and Canadian sectors.
Scholarship applicants were judged on academic achievement, school and community activities, and on an essay entitled “What Being a Member of a Union Family Means to Me.” We proudly present the 2020 Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. Scholarship Award winners.
PRIVATE SECTOR
Brigitte P. Nguyen earned the scholarship award for IFPTE’s Private Sector. The daughter of SPEEA/IFPTE Local 2001 member Paul P. Nguyen, Brigitte graduated from Raisbeck Aviation High School and will attend the University of California-Berkeley, Rausser College of Natural Resources, majoring in Microbial Biology in the fall.
FEDERAL SECTOR
Nicole Alexandra Williams earned the scholarship award for IFPTE’s Federal Sector. Her father, Christopher Williams, is a member of IFPTE Local 4. Nicole graduated from Mascoma Valley Regional High School in Canaan, NH and will attend Endicott College.
CANADIAN SECTOR
Marc "Andrei" Adam earned the scholarship award for IFPTE’s Canadian Sector. His mother, Monica Adam, is a member of SUP/IFPTE Local 160 in Toronto. Marc graduated from Abbey Park High School and will attend McGill University pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in the fall.
PUBLIC SECTOR
Jade S. Gregory earned the scholarship award for IFPTE’s Public Sector. The daughter of IFPTE Local 21 member John Gregory, Jade graduated from Northgate High School in Walnut Creek, CA. This fall she will attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
