IFPTE Members Attend 49th Annual SFLERP Conference in Washington, DC

Members and leaders from the Association of Administrative Law Judges (AALJ/IFPTE Judicial Council 1) and IFPTE Local 1 travelled to Washington, DC this week to attend the annual Society of Federal Labor Relations Professionals (SFLERP) annual symposium; President Biggs provided the keynote address to attendees on Thursday.

The symposium included many training sessions and panel discussions focused on federal sector arbitration, FLRA developments and updates, and a Federal Services Impasse Panel town hall. Other speakers included Rhode Island Senator, Sheldon Whitehouse; Federal Labor Relations Authority Chair, Susan Grundmann, and; Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Chief of Staff, Alethea Predoux.

In attendance from IFPTE’s Locals were Judges Som Ramrup and Kim Schiro (AALJ/IFPTE JC1), and Ed Cahoon (IFPTE Local 1 retired president and SFLERP board member).
