Local 121 Honors Two Longtime Champions for Their Service to the Union

At last week’s monthly membership in Honolulu, IFPTE Local 121 took time out to pay tribute to Darwin Uesato and Sandy Toyama for their incredible and decades-long contributions to the members of Local.

The tribute was highlighted by the presentation of plaques by President Emeritus, Peter Fontanilla, which read, “In grateful appreciation for your outstanding loyalty, service, and contributions to the labor union movement for the betterment of the membership and their families.”

Local 121 President/Eastern Federal Area Vice President, Jamie Uyeunten, commented:  “This is just a small token of our huge appreciation to both Darwin and Sandy for their unyielding commitment to all Local 121’s membership, and indeed all of IFPTE’s membership.  They have and continue to give their time, energy, and passion to our membership and for that, we are forever grateful.”

Congratulations Sister Toyama and Brother Uesato!.
