Society of United Professionals Celebrates Lunar New Year

Earlier this week, the Society of United Professionals (SUP/IFPTE Local 160) Coalition of Racialized Professionals (CORP) celebrated Lunar New Year by organizing a cultural presentation for members. Over 100 members attended the virtual event and IFPTE President Matt Biggs and Secretary-Treasurer Gay Henson were invited and extended greetings for the event on behalf of all of IFPTE’s membership.

The event, which was organized by CORP Chair, Leon Simeon, included presentations from SUP members about their experiences celebrating the Lunar New Year in their home countries of Vietnam and China, as well as an explanation of the Chinese Horoscope.  IFPTE congratulates the CORP on a great event on this Year of the Rabbit!
